start form nothing in 2004, android become promising mobile operating system in 2010. some analysis said that will overthrow its older brothers, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and Apple next year. CNN said, this is android sensation. another phenomenon, the application proliferate on a very high rate growth. this is actually the open source nature, when the freedom to develop give the strength to beat the giant.

it is a simple history that initiate the history of the giant wannabe. in 2004 google bought a startup company that focused on the development of a smartphone operating system called android. the development is still going on, but google make it free as an open source. the the proliferation is going on. various phone maker join the development and provide the best hardware for such smart operating system.

then the questin is why android going to be the biggest ? the most important things is its nature as open-sourced software. there is freedom for various software developer to participate and make android even smarter than other.
