Asia, The Next Leader
World Economic Forum summit that held in Indonesia is an acknowledgment of Asian economic power. So, how President Yudhoyono open the summit in Indonesia is absolutely correct. Yudhoyono’s remark set a good start to make Asia nation recognize the moment.
“I notice that this newfound confidence is not particular to Indonesia. You can see it throughout Asia. In my heart I do believe that Asia’s moment has come, and that a much brighter future lies ahead. But we cannot take this for granted,” Yudhoyono said in the opening remarks of the WEF at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta on Sunday.
Nazarudin Begin His Twitter Strategy
Nazarudin not only use blog as political tools for his revenge strategy. Not so long ago, I just found his twitter account from my twitter timeline. Somebody was frequently retweeted Nazarudin’s updates. So here is Nazarudin’s twitter account, @mnazar78. Hopefully, this is a real account because I am waiting his controversial move for the shake of The Dem’s fall.
Nurpati’s Scandal
Mahfud MD is the real newsmaker of the year. Seputar Indonesia, a current rising newspaper in Indonesia, few weeks ago awarded Mahfud MD as newsmaker of the year. Jakarta Post said that Mahfud MD beats Obama and Sri Mulyani. Later, Sindo’s choice is perfectly fit. Mahfud MD confirmed the Sindo’s award through his numerous controversial maneuver’s. First, when he disclosed Nazarudin’s bribery attempt to Janedri’s MK (Constitution Court). Second, when he revealed Andi Nurpati’s attempt to forge Constitutions Court’s decision on 2009 election dispute.
The scandal is a potential developing story. Andi Nurpati currently has strategic position in the Democratic Party. It means, the Nurpati’s Scandal could threaten the Dem’s political position as ruling party in Indonesia. We’ll see the Dems decline become faster than ever.
Nazarudin’s Blog Maybe a Hoax
After Nazarudin’s SMS warning few days ago, now everybody talking about his controversial blog. It is said that Nazarudin use the blog to fight back. The controversy on Nazarudin’s blog give rise to the next question. Is it real blog?
On one of the blog posts, Nazarudin said the blog is his real blog.
Mantan Bendahara Umum Partai Demokrat (PD) M Nazaruddin mengamini blog nazaruddin78.blogspot.com miliknya. Nazaruddin mengaku akan melakukan ‘perlawanan’ lewat blog. "Iya itu blog saya," kata Nazaruddin saat dikonfirmasi detikcom lewat telepon, Selasa (31/5/2011).
But the acknowledgement is also controversial. The blog’s tagline said something weird.
Ini bukan blog milik Nazaruddin yang terkenal itu, tapi ini hanya blog biasa yang mencoba mengambil untung dari bendahara, eh dari traffic saja. Tidak ada hubungan apa-apa dengan Nazaruddin sendiri
It means, there is contradiction that materialized on the blog posts.
Nazarudin Use His Blog to Fight Back
Nazarudin is not only briliant. He is also knowing the current trend of internet use for political reason. I means, according to Metro TV, he has a blog and used it as a tools to fight back. The blog maybe only hoax. But the most important thing is that the blog create a specific public sphere that facilitate everybody who have concern on the Nazarudin case to post their comments about the hot scandal.
Andi Mallarangeng said that the blog only add noise to the bribery case that launched few days ago.
Nazarudin’s Manouver: Revenge of the Fallen
Nazaruddin has a briliant strategy. While on his hiding place, he prepare his revenge strategy. His first warning to Mahfud MD and Janedri was broadcasted on Metro TV’s public interview last night.
I think, this warning will be the next fuel for current political chaos in Indonesia. Will Mahfud MD lost on the battle? or will Democratic Party go to their grave? we’’ll see…
SBY Overacted, What it Means?
Many expert said that Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono overacted in response to the slanderous SMS. I believe that public mistrust to SBY is rising. The Dems is also encountering popularity inflation. For me, SBY’s overacted action is a sign for the messages accuracy. In short, it means that the slanderous SMS that sent by somebody who confessed himself as Nazarudin is maybe true.
SBY is Scandalized by SMS
Partai Demokrat is still on the trending topics for several weeks. Thanks for Nazarudin for the kick. Few days ago, there is another kick from somebody that confessed himself as Nazarudin. Through Short Message, Nazarudin that is currently absconding to Singapore spread his intimidation to his colleague. I believe that this is the key moment that will turn Indonesia’s future of political spectrum. The Dems will be weaker by day. While Golkar that is currently stabile, will be more powerful for the next presidential ellection.
